This world,
was once so small and now,
It’s grown to be so big.
Evolution’s happened here,
And love’s a game to win.
_
This world,
Once upon a time,
Was only just a wish.
A wonder waiting to begin.
A starting point, a finish line.
A future and a past defined,
Forever changing like the tide.
_
This world,
something so beautiful.
Seen only past that ugliness,
To find the flower blooming amongst
the willful and wild weeds.
_
This world,
So full of shadows.
Full of
pain and disrespect.
Full of
hate/hurt/harm.
That isn’t how it
Always has to be.
_
This world,
requires balance.
A bit of everything.
As much rain as
There is sun.
As many dents to
Any kind of day.
_
This world,
As seasons past, so far and fast, the
balance will tip one way.
Trying,
To test against the challenges to come.
To play the roles yet to be played.
To find the answers still untold.
_
This world,
full of many things
So many,
Many,
Many things.
Many, endless,
Other things.
Out there in
The waiting world.
_
The World is Waiting.
Just waiting,
Just waiting,
Just waiting,
to be fixed.
Just waiting,
To be found again.
Just waiting,
To find a way.
Just waiting for,
Someone like you,
To wish for its rising day.
Like a star does it shine,
And only because of you.
_
The World is Waiting.
Waiting,
Waiting,
for all the help it needs,
To get it all back on track.
To stop the climate crisis.
To end poverty and homelessness.
To shelter all and treat each other,
With that Golden Rule.
_
“Treat others as you would want to be treated yourself.”
That’s what this world is waiting for.
_
And I would like to add;
“Help others without being asked because
You want to and you can.”
