Ghost
by Aidan H.
It was during the war between the alliance and the enemies. When 50 alliances fighting against 200 enemies fought across the old city, the alliances were being outnumbered.
They would see the enemies holding their rifle, LMG and tanks walking. The enemies knew that they wouldn’t be able to win. After the platoon managed to break through, they would see the enemies raising their white flag right and left as a sign of defeat. They didn’t believe it, then started to gun them down. After they all finished, the enemies would celebrate their victories. At night, while the celebration continued, one of the guards was on duty to look out. He felt tired and then decided to join in with the others. When he got there, he would see his comrade dead.
Filled with horror seeing them missing their eyes, stabbed, shot, and spine broken. He saw blood trails across the floor. The wall is also covered with blood. Not only he saw the blood, but a symbol of a skull.
There are also words written on it. It said: When one soldier goes rogue, it then loses its identity. They would lose everything that they loved and everything they fought. As a soldier, we see the horror that the war created. Seeing our brothers being killed. Filled with anger and hatred. We wanted to seek vengeance. You killed my brother. I killed your brother. We are the same. But if you showed me mercy and proved to me that you didn’t mean too, then I would accept your desperateness. Right now, you are stepping on my territory and I don’t like it. You know why because I am a Ghost. And a ghost, haunted their victims.
