The Abandoned Dragon

The dragon is from dragon land. He’s small because he’s a baby. He lives with a person named John. The dragon lives with him because  the dragon got abandoned at birth. When the dragon is older he will be really big if John keeps taking care of him, so John keeps him. As a baby he plays with a toy that spins and goes all over the place. The dragon really likes the toy a lot. The dragon thinks John is a really nice person and treats the dragon really well and the dragon likes John a lot because when the dragon was abandoned at birth, John took him in. That’s why he likes John so much because the dragon thinks about John like the dragon’s dad. John is like a father figure to the dragon.

On a very sunny afternoon, John took the dragon to the park to practice flying. At first the dragon was nervous, but he got used to it. John puts the dragon in his hands and swings around so he can feel the wind on his face. After 30 minutes, his wings expand. Suddenly he sees a kite in the air and starts to chase it. He is flying for the first time and didn’t even realize it! The dragon starts to try and fly home, but doesn’t know the way!

John chases the dragon. He sees the dragon flying all over the place. It sounds like “whoosh, whoosh” him flying around. John’s body feels hot and he has a lot of energy. He can smell all the places the dragon went around to- all the stores and restaurants. He finds the dragon eating pizza from a white girl with orange hair and blue eyes outside of the pizza shop. John yells, “GIve me back my dragon!”
