Violin
by Mengchen Z.
In tender hands I held
A violin so small and fragile
Its strings like whispers softly played
A melody like willow branches swayed
In a child’s heart a world so new
Found comfort in each bow’s entrance
The gentle touch upon its strings
Revealed the joy that brings music
Through laughter’s tears so pure
You taught me melodies oh so sweet
Together we dance in twilight’s glow
In realms where only young dreams flow
You hear my whispers in the night
A symphony of childhood’s light
Through you I learned the song of grace
A timeless echo, and embrace
Though years have past and I’ve grown tall
Your melodies still remain singing in my heart
With every note a journey we tread
From wonder’s cradle to dreams widespread
